James Braly, M.D., author of the best-selling Dr. Braly's Food Allergy and Nutrition Revolution (Keats Publishing, 1994), Food Allergy Relief (Keats Publishing, 2001) and Dangerous Grains (Penguin-Putman, 2002) is best known as a world authority on food allergies and gluten sensitivity. With over 20 years of clinical and laboratory experience to draw from, he is also regarded as  one of the leading  researchers in the area of  fundamental causes of food sensitivities and  their natural therapies.  Because of his experience and his ability to make the complex easy to understand, Dr. Braly is frequently invited to lecture and consult on both subjects in the United States, Canada and Europe.

    Before retiring from clinical practice in 1994, Dr. Braly was medical director and attending physician at two popular California medical practices where he became known as the "Doctor to the Stars".  His clientele included such celebrities as Sylvester Stallone, Henry Mancini, Lucille Ball, James Coburn, Shirley MacLaine, Phyllis Diller, Debbie Reynolds and Merv Griffin.
